Kit Kat Is Bringing Back Its Valentine's Day Flavor Early
The holiday season is already upon us, and the end of the year is fast approaching. 2020 has been a stressful and uncertain year for many, and it's a good bet that quite a few people are ready to put this year behind them for good. It was a rocky year, but Kit Kat is bringing back a tasty offering that will hopefully help make the start of 2021 a little sweeter.
According to Delish, Kit Kat just announced their popular raspberry and crème Kit Kat bars will be returning to grocery store shelves. The brand released the specialty flavor for Valentine's Day last year, and it was such a hit they decided to bring it back for round two. The bar has the same sweet and crunchy wafer as a regular Kit Kat, but it is coated with fruity raspberry crème instead of milk chocolate. Although many people are still enjoying seasonal Christmas flavors, like peppermint and gingerbread, it's never too early to get in the Valentine's mood.
Raspberry and crème Kit Kats are already hitting the shelves
Instagram users with a sweet tooth expressed their delight on the platform. User @foodiewiththebeasts posted their find, saying "What's that you say? Raspberry Kit Kats have returned AGAIN for Valentine's day?! Does that mean lemon will come back too?! Only time will tell, but if you're already over Christmas and want to get straight to 2021, Giant has you covered with all your Valentine's Day needs!!" Their followers were quick to chime in, with @ctori17 asking, Wwhere can I grab this," and @adrian_na01 simply declaring, "My favorite!!"
The raspberry and crème Kit Kats should soon be available at all major retail locations, but only for a limited time. These seasonal wafers are sold in pink packages that are adorned with hearts, so it's a good bet that they will only be on the shelves until February 14th. Although 2020 isn't quite over yet, it's nice to know there is already something sweet to look forward to in the new year.
