These Korean-Style Mini Wontons At Aldi Have People Talking
If you are a fan of both Korean food and saving money on groceries, then Aldi has just the thing for you. The discount supermarket chain is now stocking mini wontons from Bibigo, the popular brand of Korean-style cuisine whose mission is to provide products that are both convenient and delicious. And, according to social media, it seems they are succeeding in that mission.
The Instagram account @aldi.mademedoit joked: "These are the ones I wonton...I know I can't be the only one that grabs every dumpling and wonton that comes into @aldiusa. Who else loves grabbing them?!" Judging from the enthusiastic responses to this post, it looks like plenty of people are big fans of the Bibigo brand and are psyched to see that Aldi is now carrying them. User @vsaceh explained: "This is actually a name brand. I use to buy them all the time at H-mart. So delicious. Couldn't believe it when I saw them at my ALDI! So incredible," while @thriftybuylaws announced: "I LOVE bibigo dumplings!!" Social media user @nikkiclass heartily concurred, posting: "This taste AMAZING ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ the best on the market‼️"
Bibigo mini wontons can be served in under two minutes
These mini wontons are fully cooked and can be ready to eat in just minutes. Simply cover them with a wet paper towel and put them in the microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, and they'll come out hot and ready to be enjoyed. For those that prefer their dumplings boiled, only 1-2 minutes on the stove is enough to cook up to 12 wontons. Even pan-frying requires almost no time at all. It takes just five minutes before these dumplings are fried a delicious and golden-brown. However, many followers recommended putting them in an air fryer for an even better wonton experience. They can also be added to a number of dishes, including soups, noodles, and stir-frys.
According to Bibigo, the Koren-style mini chicken and vegetable dumplings are filled with cabbage, leek, tofu, white and green onions, and, of course, chicken. The wontons are only 230 calories per serving and contain thirteen grams of protein and just two grams of sugar. They are also Weight Watcher friendly, as Instagram user @freestyle_mikki noted, posting: "These are great. And if you are doing weight watchers they are super low in points!! Bonus!"
Bibigo wontons never fail to deliver a quick, easy, and delicious meal. And now these bite-sized delights are giving customers another great reason to shop at Aldi.
