People Are Comparing These Costco Nuggets To Chick-Fil-A

A video that garnered over 2 million views on Tik Tok last week has uncovered a truth that will shake you to your core: these store-bought chicken nuggets are just like another kind of fast-food chicken nugget that we love. In this case, the Tik Tok video from account @floridamomof3, features (presumably) a Florida mom of three and her daughter conducting an in-depth nugget investigation. What they found is bound to blow minds.
Apparently, as @floridamomof3 and her daughter are shocked to discover, the "Just Bare" brand chicken breast chunks they got at Costco are the breaded chicken twins of Chick-fil-A's beloved nuggets. In the video, they heat up the nuggets, dip them in sauce and reflect on the similarities between the two. It could have helped that they also used Chick-fil-A sauces, which they say can be bought at Publix supermarkets. Apparently, the frozen nuggets look like Chick-fil-A, smell like Chick-fil-A, and — you guessed it — taste like Chick-fil-A.

It might be a good thing that millions of people now have an alternative to Chick-fil-A nuggets, because, as Eater reminded us in 2017, "You Probably Shouldn't Eat at Chick-fil-A." Some of the reasons why, included the billion-dollar company's conspicuous exclusion of sexual orientation from its online application's equal opportunity statement, and its parent company's history of donating to anti-LGTBQ organizations. Vox reported last year that though the company refocused its giving practices, they didn't commit to permanently stopping donations to discriminatory organizations.
Some might also agree with Eater, which noted, "It will take a lot more than a smile and a chicken sandwich, quite frankly, to convince people who don't want to dine or work there that the chain is a positive addition to the community." We do hear that Costco has some other pretty good offerings, too, apart of its now Tik Tok-famous chicken nuggets. And as commenters on @floridamomof3's video reminded us, unlike Chick-fil-A, Costco's open on Sundays.
