Levain Bakery has just announced that frozen versions of their favorite cookies will now be available in the freezer aisles of Whole Foods nationwide, according to Delish. These cookies promise to deliver the same rich, gooey experience that comes with a trip to the bakery, but now you don't even have to leave home to get your cookie fix. Each cookie has already been fully prepared before it ever leaves the bakery, according to Levain Bakery. The cookies are frozen to maintain freshness before being sent to participating Whole Foods, where customers from all over the country can get to experience the rich, decadent goodness of a Levain cookie.
Four Levain Bakery cookie flavors will be available at Whole Foods
Delish reports that each package comes with eight cookies that are about two ounces each. So, although the cookies are smaller than the ones that you would traditionally purchase in person at the bakery, there is nothing stopping you from preparing two or three — or even the whole box. Customers will simply have to put their frozen cookies into the oven for just five to seven minutes, and voila! You'll be able to enjoy warm, bakery-quality cookies fresh from the oven in the comfort of your own home.
To begin with, Levain Bakery and Whole Foods will only be launching some of their most popular flavors in stores: Chocolate Chip Walnut, Two Chip Chocolate Chip, and Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, according to a statement sent to Mashed. One can only hope that, as more people become aware that these delicious frozen cookies are available to purchase, they will soon make more flavors available to Levain Bakery fans across the country.
