The Spicy Interview Series Andrew Zimmern Wants To Be A Guest On

Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern is perhaps best known for his appearances on the TV show "Bizzare Foods," where he exposes his fans to unusual food items with relish. He told the Travel Channel in an interview that he was always fascinated by food thanks to his parents. He said, "I was raised in a home that sought out the unusual, honest, authentic food experience. By the time I was 10, I knew what I wanted to do with my life."

Zimmern added that he was already exploring what professional kitchens were like when he was 14-years-old. And as an adult, Zimmern has been lucky enough to explore his love for food via "Bizzare Foods." Zimmern, in his defense, doesn't hold back and takes his job seriously. He told Thrillist, "I'm endlessly curious. There's no un-douchey way to say this, but I don't think I would have the level of success that I've had if I was like a part-timer." As Zimmern has eaten many daring meals, including horse rib in Kazakhstan and shark in Iceland, he thinks he'd be a shoo-in as a guest on one very popular interview series.

Zimmern would love a chance to get in the hot seat

Andrew Zimmern doesn't mind pushing himself and getting out of his comfort zone. He recently had a fascinating confession for his fans in one of his YouTube videos. The chef started off with an interesting disclaimer that read, "We're paying homage to our favorite hot sauce show Hot Ones, while I wait for my invite to be on the show." The text was accompanied by a winky emoji. Clearly, Zimmern is impressed by the YouTube series and wants to be a part of it!

"Hot Ones" is a popular YouTube show hosted by Sean Evans. The show puts its famous guests on the hot seat quite literally as they feast on "progressively" spicy wings while answering a series of interesting questions.

Come to think of it, Zimmern is a good candidate for the show. After all, he has already proven that he can handle tough food challenges without flinching. Also, Zimmern loves spicy food himself. He even has a spicy wings recipe on his website for his fans.
