Popeyes Now Has A Loyalty Program. Here's What Fans Need To Know

Do you love Popeyes chicken? Every time you find yourself ordering at the restaurant, do you wish there was some way you could get paid for being such a good customer? Well then you are in luck, because now you can get paid in points with every purchase. Popeyes just announced it will be introducing a loyalty rewards program, and fans of its chicken definitely won't want to miss signing up.

Their first-ever rewards program will give customers the chance to earn points on purchases, which they can then redeem for free or discounted menu items, as well as get access to exclusive discounts, deals, free swag, celebrations, member experiences, and more, according to Food and Wine. For every dollar they spend online or in the app, members will earn 10 points, as well as be eligible for special member "happy hours" and bonus points on certain items.

Customers can sign up and start earning points right away by simply downloading the Popeyes app or heading to popeyes.com and registering with their name and email, and it is completely free to sign up.

New rewards program members will gain access to this Popeyes exclusive

To celebrate the release of the new program, Popeyes will also be releasing an exclusive "Welcome To The Popeyes Fam" Meal, available only to rewards members. According to Chew Boom, the meal comes with eight pieces of Popeyes signature bone-in chicken, one large side and four biscuits. New rewards members will also receive 500 extra bonus points if they order the exclusive meal anytime between June 17 to July 1, 2021.

But that's not all. Members who sign up now will still get the chance to receive a free apple pie, regular side, or small drink upon joining, even if they don't order the welcome meal. "We have been humbled to see our fans express their loyalty for our brand time and time again. Our goal has been to create a perfect loyalty program that matches and rewards their unparalleled enthusiasm," Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer Bruno Cardinali said of the new program, via Business Wire.
