In fact, fans of Chick-fil-A recently took to Reddit to discuss exactly how they feel about the restaurant's spicy chicken sandwich. A poll was posted on October 20, 2021, where people could choose the level of spiciness of the product. A total of 326 people responded, and you might be surprised by what many people had to say.
The poll options included "Not spicy," "Not spicy enough," "Spicy," and "Really spicy." Only 29 people thought the sandwich was "really spicy," while 54 people voted that the sandwich was "not spicy." That means that the greatest number of people on Reddit were divided as to whether the spicy chicken sandwich was "spicy" or "not spicy enough." The second most-selected option in the poll to describe the sandwich was "not spicy enough," with 103 votes. That means about one-third of people — or 30.16% of the voters — felt that Chick-fil-A could make the sandwich even hotter.

A whopping 42.95% of respondents to the Reddit poll believe Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken sandwich is indeed spicy, with 140 votes out of the total 326 responses. While plenty of people on the website clearly believe the sandwich is hot enough as it is, fans and critics of the chicken sandwich didn't hold their opinions back on Chick-fil-A Reddit either.
One person commented, "I love spicy foods, but I honestly really don't like the spicy chicken, it's the only thing on the menu other than the cool wrap, which I'm allergic to, that I don't like. But on the spicy scale, it's not that spicy, but it's spicy enough." Someone else wrote, "It's not that spicy until you add pepper jack cheese. I bit into one of those sandwiches, and it felt like satan spawned in my mouth." Another fan said, "It was way too spicy for me, but all my coworkers eat it like nothin', so maybe I'm just sensitive."
So, those who are really sensitive to spicy foods might want to pass or try the sandwich with caution. But it seems for most people, the sandwich is spicy enough.
