For Reese's fans, who once fell in love with the creamy, chocolate-y, peanut butter-packed flavor in the Reese's Extreme Blizzard and then mourned when it was taken off the menu, there's some good news — it's back as the limited-edition Blizzard of the Month for August 2021 (via Chew Boom). However, it's actually available at participating U.S. Dairy Queen locations starting on July 26, so if you want to get a head start on the crowd you just might be able to get your hands on one of these tasty frozen treats early.
So, what exactly makes this limited-edition Blizzard any different than the regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard that is always on the menu? Well, while the regular flavor has vanilla soft serve blended with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (via Dairy Queen), the Reese's Extreme Blizzard starts with that same vanilla soft serve and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups base, but then also includes Reese's Pieces, creamy peanut butter topping, and chocolatey topping.
