The Real Reason Lana Condor Posts A Lot Of Her Meals On Instagram

Actor Lana Condor charmed America, especially young girls, as Lara Jean Covey in the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy with her quirky outfits, wholesome, charming personality, and lovey dovey relationship with co-star Noah Centineo's character Peter Kavinsky. Next up, she'll be appearing in (and executive producing) "Boo, Bitch," a Netflix comedy series about a high school student who discovers she's a ghost (via Harper's Bazaar).

Condor trained as a ballet dancer before making the switch to acting in high school (via IMDB). It was in the ballet world that Condor says she began to understand the pressure to "look a certain way" (via Elle Canada). But Condor is working to change that narrative. She told Elle Canada: "I know what it's like to have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia — and also what it's like to be a friend to someone who has that. I think it's time to give people comfort. You have to eat. You have to stop thinking that a certain body shape is ideal, because it's not."

Lana Condor's Instagram posts are downright tasty

Condor has therefore decided that instead of having a negative relationship with food, she is going to honor that relationship. And what better way to celebrate food than to share your meals with the world via Instagram? "I literally post about every meal I eat," she told Elle Canada.

And it appears as if her fans love her posts; she has 11.1 million followers on the social media platform, where you'll find her noshing on pizza, slurping noodles, and digging into cartons of french fries. "I realized if we can impact just one person, that is all that matters to me," Condor told Harper's Bazaar.
