This Jamba Juice Secret Menu Item Tastes Just Like Pink Starburst

Jamba Juice is constantly reinventing the wheel when it comes to smoothie flavors and the company doesn't shy away from making drinks off the secret menu. Just recently, Jamba Juice announced it would be offering two new beverages, Gotcha Matcha and Bold n' Cold Brew. This may seem a little odd for a smoothie retailer, but it's a prime example of how Jamba Juice is keeping up with the times. Of course, a large part of staying relevant is embracing viral trends on social media.

With the launch of TikTok, secret menu creations have never been more popular. Now, people can visually share their favorite secret menu items from places like Jamba Juice and Starbucks with thousands of people at the tap or swipe of a finger. According to Spoon University, there are over 30 secret menu drinks you can order at Jamba Juice. Flavors range from Apple Pie to Berry Lime Sublime and Butterfinger to Fruity Pebbles. However, the one that's really turning heads is the Pink Starburst smoothie, which tastes like (you guessed it) a pink Starburst.

It's delicious, but riddled with sugar

If you're in the mood for something sweet, Reddit suggests ordering the Pink Starburst smoothie off the Jamba Juice secret menu. According to a user, the recipe for the drink is 8 ounces of soy milk, two scoops of vanilla frozen yogurt, two scoops of orange sherbert, and half a cup of strawberries. TheĀ #HackTheMenu rates the Pink Starburst smoothie high in the popularity category. However, this outlet's recipe card for the pink smoothie includes an extra sugary and tart kick. In addition to the ingredients listed in the Reddit recipe, the outletĀ calls for lemonade, raspberry sherbet, plain sherbet, and extra strawberries.

While both of these versions sound extremely delicious, they definitely don't sound healthy. Adding a scoop of fruit to a mountain of sherbet ice cream doesn't automatically make it a smoothie. Compared to other all-natural, all fruit or veggie smoothies on Jamba's menu, this one probably ranks low in protein, vitamins, and other nutrient areas. This is a secret menu item so nutritional information is unknown, but going off what we know about sugary foods in general, it doesn't look good. It might be smart to order this pink Starburst flavored drink in moderation.
