Pumpkin Spice Fans Need To Know About 7-Eleven's Returning Fall Products
In recent years, the ubiquitous Pumpkin Spice Latte has taken over fall drink menus, offering a hearty taste of autumn with every sip. Now, the world's largest convenience store chain 7-Eleven — which is best known for its sugary Slurpees and grab-and-go snacks — is getting in on the pumpkin spice mania with some fall-friendly offerings aimed at PSL die-hards.
In a press release, the company announced their fall drink and treat lineup just in time for what they call "the Most Cheugy Season of All," using the slang word popularized on TikTok, meaning anything that was previously considered popular that has since become uncool, untrendy, or basic (i.e. the rap the PSL is often given).
"The Pumpkin Spice Latte obsession became a cultural phenomenon that is celebrated earlier and earlier each year and, recently, has become something most would consider... cheugy," the brand shared in the announcement. Despite this reputation, 7-Eleven's Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Marissa Jarratt, confirmed: "Pumpkin Spice is one of our most popular flavored hot beverages each year."
As such, the company will be bringing back this popular flavored latte in addition to a number of other limited-time items that are guaranteed to put customers in the mood for sweater wearing, leaf peeping, and seasonal sipping.
7-Eleven's fall offerings include seasonal coffees and pumpkin-flavored baked goods
To ring in the autumnal season, 7-Eleven has announced the return of two popular limited-edition pumpkin-flavored coffee drinks, the Fall Pumpkin Coffee and the Pumpkin Spice Latte, that are now available in participating stores nationwide. In addition to the return of the seasonal beverages, which can be customized with flavor shots, sugars, and milk at the chain's free coffee bar, 7-Eleven also unveiled a newly designed to-go coffee cup to house these beloved drinks. The company will also be rolling out a number of sweet, fall-friendly treats, including cream cheese-filled pumpkin spice muffins, caramel apple snack pies, pumpkin cheesecake, and pumpkin spice sandwich cookies, for customers to munch on alongside their seasonal beverage of choice.
Noting the return of the company's limited-time PSL, Jarrett shared: "The Pumpkin Spice Latte is filled with fond memories for our customers of a crisp fall night, a first date at a pumpkin patch, or even a family bonfire in matching flannel shirts. We're delighted to continue and fuel our customers' love for the Pumpkin Spice Latte, no matter how cheugy it may be." To that, we say cheers!
