The Chick-Fil-A TikTok Hack For A Better Chicken Wrap
What's cooler than being cool? For the band OutKast, the answer would be "ice cold." However, in terms of Chick-fil-A's Cool Wrap, the thing that apparently makes it cooler is actually hot, crispy, and fried. Or, at least, that's what TikTok thinks, anyway.
TikTok user Amelia McCall, aka @mothersewsbest, clued us in on the latest CFA meal upgrade in a video posted on April 4 (though credit really goes to her sister, who she said used to work at Chick-fil-A). "You're going to get a grilled chicken Cool Wrap, but you ask for fried chicken and it is amazing," she explained.
For those who haven't tried the sole wrap on Chick-fil-A's lunch and dinner menu, the handheld typically features grilled chicken breast, as well as a Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese and mixed greens, all of which are rolled up on a flax-seed flour flatbread. The chain appears to be pretty proud of the dish, too, noting on its website that the simplicity of the five-ingredient entree is what makes it so good — though McCall insists that her hack takes it to the next level. "It is, like ... gets the cheese all melty ... the flavor of the fried chicken," she said.
"Oh, and you have to get avocado lime ranch, it is so good," McCall added, which is an idea that Chick-fil-A supports, as well.
The Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap hack might not always work
There are a few things you should know before heading out to your local Chick-fil-A to try out TikTok user Amelia McCall's Cool Wrap hack.

First off, McCall warns in her post that you probably don't want to bother waiting in one of the chain's notoriously long drive-thru lines to order a fried chicken Cool Wrap, as they've only been able to successfully order the menu hack inside. "It's worth the trip in," she promised, adding, "If you're willing to spend, like, the price of your firstborn child to get a wrap, at least get it with the fried chicken, because it's a thousand times better."
Unfortunately, making the trip inside for this upgraded entree might not always work out, either. Despite McCall's local Chick-fil-A being able to fulfill the chicken swap request, some Redditors warn that it's ultimately on a store-by-store basis. "The CFA I work at does not allow fried chicken on wraps since it's not endorsed by corporate. Essentially, if there's no way to ring it up, we don't sell it," one employee explained in a 2021 Reddit thread, though others said it may be possible if your store has a "locals" menu.
If worse comes to worst, you can always order a pack of nuggets, pick up the CFA tortilla dupes from Whole Foods, and make a copycat Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap at home.
