Everyone likes to start off the day with a hot cup of Joe. But if you're tired of brewing your coffee at home, you may be tempted to go out to your favorite coffee shop to pick up some of the good stuff. You can do that from time to time, of course, but after a while, the cost really starts to add up. If you want to save money and still drink the best coffee ever, you might want to try a coffee creamer.

That all sounds pretty straightforward until you get to the grocery store and you find yourself presented with almost limitless options. What exactly should you choose? With so many different coffee creamers on the shelves, it can be difficult to make the best decision.

No worries — we're here to guide you through some of the most popular coffee creamer brands on the market. It's not all-inclusive, but we do feature popular coffee creamer brands that you're likely to find at your local grocery store. We put the worst ones first so you know which ones to avoid. But keep reading until the bottom of the list if you want to get the scoop on our favorite coffee creamers on the market. These products will ensure that you'll never pay for an overpriced coffee when you could just as easily make it at home instead.

13. Milkadamia

We want to love Milkadamia coffee creamer. We really do. The packaging is super appealing, and it looks like something that you'd love to have out on your kitchen counter every morning. But when you actually taste this stuff, you'll be sorely disappointed. That's because out of all the dairy-free coffee creamers out there, this one just can't keep up.

You might get excited about the fact that there are so many different flavors to choose from, but once you try a few, you'll realize that they kind of all taste the same. The flavors aren't too strong, so it mostly just tastes like you're watering your coffee down with a little bit of nut water.

Sure, the exterior of these products may be appealing, but when it comes to the actual contents? You can do much better with so many other coffee creamers out there. Just don't waste your time on this stuff.

12. So Delicious

If you've ever purchased dairy-free milk for your house, you've probably seen the So Delicious brand at the store. But did you know that they offer a line of coffee creamers too? They're made from coconut cream, which may make it sound like they're going to taste incredible. In reality, though, we were disappointed when we tried some for ourselves.

The fact of the matter is, these coffee creamers are just not that strong. They add a weak flavor to your coffee, but that's about it. One reviewer from Go Dairy Free had this to say about their experience with the brand: "Was expecting it to do something other than change the color of my coffee. Would not recommend for coffee drinkers. Very disappointing."

Not exactly a glowing review. Unfortunately, the coconut cream in the product just doesn't do much, so you're probably going to have to add more sweeteners or even some extra milk if you use these products. It may be something to pick up if you notice it's on sale. Otherwise, save your time and money.

11. Mooala

These days, more and more people are going dairy-free, or at least trying to reduce the amount of dairy they consume. Because of that, we have yet another dairy-free coffee creamer option available at grocery stores: Mooala coffee creamers. One thing we love about this brand is the fact that there are a ton of different flavors that you can choose from. The vanilla bean flavor is classic, but you can also try a flavor you probably won't find from many other brands: banana nut.

Another great thing about them? They have just 10 calories per serving, and they don't contain any sugar, according to PopSugar. But as you may expect, that means that they aren't the best-tasting coffee creamer products on the market. Sure, it's impressive that they taste as good as they do, considering that they're technically a bit healthier than many other brands out there. But when you actually take the taste into consideration, there are so many options that taste so much better.

If you're trying to watch your weight or just want something that's going to be a bit healthier with your coffee in the morning, then this may be the product for you. But if you're trying to achieve coffee shop-style bliss in the comfort of your own home, you should move on to some of the coffee creamers that are closer to the bottom of this list.

10. Dunkin'

Dunkin' is a super-popular coffee spot that you can find all over the country. It has gained recognition for some pretty tasty coffee drinks that we absolutely love. That's why we were so excited to find out that you could nab some of their signature coffee creamers from the grocery store. This must mean we never have to take a trip to Dunkin' again, right?

Not so fast. In our opinion, the coffee creamers could be a lot better. For one, they're not necessarily going to make your coffee taste like the stuff you get at Dunkin' stores: After all, a huge part of that flavor comes from the coffee itself, not necessarily the creamer. And on top of that, many of these creamers have flavors that are just way too strong and in your face. That's especially true if you're sensitive to a lot of sugar. These products really pack in the sweetness, and sometimes, it's just too much. After all, you're trying to drink a cup of coffee in the morning, not grab dessert on your way out the door.

Of course, if you love your coffee extra sweet, Dunkin' coffee creamers may be the thing for you. But for the rest of us? Not so much.

9. Silk

Another popular dairy-free coffee brand is Silk, and this company also has a line of coffee creamers. You won't believe the huge selection you get when you decide to go with this brand. From the toasted hazelnut almond creamer to the creme brulee almond creamer, you can make your coffee taste like just about anything with this brand.

We'll admit that it's not one of our favorite brands out there. However, it is a lot more appealing than many of the dairy-free brands you'll find. The stuff is actually pretty creamy, even though it may not have as strong a flavor as other dairy creamers on the market. And since you can choose from almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk creamers, there are a lot of different options available to you, even if you have an allergy.

Those looking for a dairy-free coffee creamer option are likely to find this in their local grocery stores, even if they don't live in a major urban area. Though it may not be our favorite, it's definitely a solid option if you want fewer dairy products in your life.

8. Coffee Mate

Perhaps one of the most well-known coffee creamer brands out there is Coffee Mate. You've almost definitely seen this stuff at your local grocery store before, and you may have even tried out some of the Coffee Mate flavors. If you're just looking for standard coffee creamer, Coffee Mate definitely has you covered. There are both dairy and non-dairy options, so there really is something for everyone. And with so many different flavors, you can make a different coffee drink every day of the week.

Of course, these coffee creamers aren't for everyone, and that's because of their incredibly sweet taste. Pretty much every creamer on this line is packed with sugar, and you can definitely tell as soon as you take a sip of your coffee. If you like a lot of sweetness, you'll probably love Coffee Mate products. Otherwise, you may just feel kind of "meh" about it.

You probably won't be disappointed if you decide to buy this stuff, and since it's so easy to find, it doesn't hurt to have some in the house from time to time. Just make sure you don't use too much, or you may feel a sugar crash coming on shortly after you finish your morning coffee — definitely not what you're looking for when you need energy to go about your day!

7. Nut Pods

If you're going to go dairy-free when it comes to your coffee creamer choices, you should definitely check out Nut Pods. Unfortunately, you're not going to find this brand everywhere. However, if you can find some at a store near you, it's definitely worth your time to give it a try. This is one of our favorite non-dairy creamers on the market, and you'll be able to taste why as soon as you give it a sip. The products are made with both almond and coconut milk, which gives these creamers a unique flavor and texture that you won't get from other brands.

There are also some downright delicious flavors for you to choose from. Why not try the cinnamon swirl or the toasted marshmallow if you want to try something different? Or you could even try the limited edition cotton candy or coconut macaroon.

There may be some options that we like better when it comes to coffee creamer, but if you have the chance to try this stuff, you should. It may not be as creamy as some of the other creamers out there, but the amazing flavors make up for that in our books.

6. Land O' Lakes

You may be surprised that Land O' Lakes coffee creamer made it up this high on our list. It may not be the fanciest brand out there, but we have to admit that this stuff is pretty good. That's because it's super creamy. The coffeehouse-style half and half has a really intense flavor, and it will take any coffee drink to the next level. But there are also other options to choose from, including some dairy-free coffee creamers that you may want to give a try if you're looking to reduce the amount of dairy you consume.

While we find that the flavors from this brand can be a little boring, the creaminess makes up for that lack. If you're looking for something simple but solid, this may just be the ideal coffee creamer for you. Some of these creamers also come in handy packaging if you tend to drink your coffee on the go. Says one Amazon reviewer: "I love creamer in my coffee, but if I can get the real stuff, I'll take it every time. I work in a small office and no one buy me drink coffee and so to have this half and half that does not need to be refrigerated is a real plus."

Stow some in your office or in your bag — you never know when you're going to need a cup of Joe on the go.

5. N'Joy

N'Joy coffee creamer may not have the most elaborate packaging out there. And in a world full of trendy coffee creamers with beautiful websites and pretty designs, you may think you should just pass up this dairy-free option entirely. But you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and if you pass this coffee creamer up in favor of something else on this list, you may just be disappointed. N'Joy is actually incredibly tasty, and it's an affordable option as well. Just take it from the Amazon reviewer who said that it's the "best coffee creamer on the market."

We do have a few complaints, though. The packaging is not great, and it might even make a mess if you're not careful. It doesn't look as appealing as a lot of other coffee creamer brands out there. But when you get down to what matters, you have to admit that N'Joy is a great option for those who want all the creaminess of a traditional creamer without any of the dairy.

4. International Delight

International Delight is one of those brands that you're going to see just about everywhere, no matter what kind of grocery store you go to. And that's a good thing, because it's one of the best coffee creamer brands out there. We love that there are so many different flavors to choose from, even if some of them do seem a bit questionable (Fruity Pebbles-flavored coffee creamer? We'll pass). And if you want to include less sugar in your diet, you can even opt for a wide variety of sugar-free choices. What's not to love about that?

We have to admit, though, that these flavors cater to a very specific palate. For the most part, you may not like these coffee creamers if you don't tend to like your coffee on the sweeter side. While the sweetness of this brand's creamers usually isn't over the top, it still may be a bit much if you don't already have a serious sweet tooth.

Overall, though, it's definitely one of the best options out there. If you're looking to expand your coffee creamer selection at home, this is certainly a good place to start.

3. Califia Farms

Califia Farms has been getting more and more attention over the years for its amazing line of products. But if you have yet to try the coffee creamers from the brand, it's time to do some experimenting. These almond milk-based creamers are seriously delicious, and that's why they earn the top dairy-free spot on our list. The flavors tend to be a little bit more standard, so you won't find anything really wild here (although you can still get your pumpkin spice creamer at certain times of the year).

That being said, we love the simplicity of these coffee creamers. They're not trying to be over the top — they're just trying to deliver the best creamy flavor to your coffee drink. The flavor isn't overpowering, so it's something you can drink on a daily basis. And since these creamers are dairy-free, vegans and those with lactose-intolerance will be able to enjoy them just as much as the next person. Of course, we love Califia Farms' trendy design, which appears on nearly all of their product packaging.

If you find yourself in the grocery store and happen to pass some coffee creamers from Califia Farms, you know you have to try some out. You can thank us later.

2. Chobani

You probably know Chobani as the insanely popular yogurt brand. And while yes, the yogurt from this company is out of this world, that doesn't mean you should stop there. That's especially true when you consider that Chobani also has a line of coffee creamers that you're not going to be able to get enough of. There are seven simple flavors: hazelnut, sweet cream, vanilla, caramel, cookies and cream, almond Coco Loco, and s'mores.

While we would love to be able to suggest just one of these flavors, we have bad news: We can't pick. They are all so good in their own way. It really comes down to what kind of flavors you like. Prefer something a bit more experimental? The s'mores coffee creamer may be the way to go. Those looking for something that's on the classic, side, though, will appreciate the vanilla.

Aydin A. from Influenster said this about the vanilla flavor: "If you like your coffee sweet like I do, you will love this. It is fully natural. And it tastes rich. And most importantly, you don't need to put any additional sweetener. Widely available in most stores, slightly more expensive than other alternatives but worth it."

We couldn't agree more! Now, it's time to go try it out for yourself.

1. Starbucks

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Starbucks coffee creamers take the top spot on this list. How could they not? We already love Starbucks drinks when we get them at a coffee shop, but they're even better when you can make them from the comfort of your own home. Luckily, you can get pretty much any type of creamer to make your ideal Starbucks order in your kitchen. There are both dairy and dairy-free options, and they come in flavors like caramel macchiato and cinnamon dulce latte. Starting to drool yet?

Delish just happens to agree with us. One of their reviewers said, "It's offish: This black coffee drinker loves each Starbucks creamer. That's when you know it's real. Am I a convert?"

We couldn't agree more. Starbucks is our favorite coffee creamer brand because it seems like every single option is out of this world. Now, head out to the store or your local Starbucks and grab some, and get a cup of coffee brewing!
