This Might Be The Exact Date Starbucks' Eggnog Latte Returns In 2021

As most of the world takes advantage of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Apple Crisp Macchiatos, and Pumpkin Scones at Starbucks, let's not forget that the coffee chain's fall menu is going to run its course in only a couple more weeks. But, it's not all bad news! The end of the PSL season usually means the onset of Starbucks' signature red cups flooding Instagram and, with that, the return of its classic holiday beverages.

That's right, Peppermint Mochas and Eggnog Lattes may be making their way back onto Starbucks' holiday menu sooner than you think. Over the last few years, Starbucks has rolled out its holiday menu in the first week of November. Per Bustle, Starbucks launched its festive drinks on November 6 in 2020, and in 2017, an official release noted that the beverage chain released its holiday drinks as early as November 1.

Although Starbucks hasn't officially announced the exact date for the return of its holiday menu for 2021, if the last few years are any indication, fans might start seeing red cups and Eggnog Lattes in the first week of November. In fact, a website dedicated to counting down the days until the return of the Christmas menu at Starbucks speculates that November 7 is going to mark the return of Eggnog Lattes in 2021, which means it's only a few more weeks until the festive season begins!

Starbucks' Eggnog Latte might not make it onto this year's holiday menu

Although Starbucks hasn't officially announced a date for the return of its holiday menu or which festive drinks will make their way onto this year's list, you might think that Eggnog Latte would certainly make the cut — it is the first festive coffee that the chain ever launched, after all (via PopSugar).

However, if rumors are to be believed, the classic may not return to the 2021 holiday menu. Per an Instagram account dedicated to all-things-food, the 2021 Christmas lineup will see the return of Peppermint Mocha, Creme Brûlée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. Joining the festive lineup seems to be the brand new Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte, which means there's one classic missing from the list — the Eggnog Latte.

The steamed eggnog and espresso blend, topped with a generous sprinkle of nutmeg, it seems, will not be back this Christmas. While we wait on Starbucks to hopefully confirm otherwise (fingers crossed), it seems that Snowman Cookies, Sugar Plum Cheese Danishes, and Cranberry Bliss Bars will be back, as well, along with all-new Reindeer Cake Pops.
