Gordon Ramsay Just Joined In On TikTok's Food Dance Trend

Gordon Ramsay is serving up some hot and fresh moves by joining the latest food dance trend on TikTok. His youngest daughter, Matilda "Tilly" Ramsay (@tillyramsay), is an English television celebrity and TikTok superstar with over 9.6 million followers, according to Insider. She recently challenged her celebrity chef father to show us his dance moves in the latest #fooddance trending on TikTok, and while he accepted the challenge, he also proved that he doesn't have the moves like Jagger.

Chef Ramsay expertly seasons what looks to be a beet and tomato salad with salt, pepper, and a lemon vinaigrette. He throws a bit of salt over his shoulder in time with the beat, prompting TikToker Kris HC to comment, "The salt pinch was fire!" He continues his food dance by tasting his culinary creation and approving of it by dancing in a way that looks like an orchestra conductor experiencing hip hop for the first time. Commenter Mackenzie critiques the moves perfectly by commenting, "Why does he dance with an English accent?"

Tilly Ramsay challenges her dad to a TikTok dance

Regardless of his skills, you can't have a food dance challenge on TikTok without Gordon Ramsay. While he won't be quitting his day job anytime soon, it's no surprise that the kitchen powerhouse can't say no to a culinary dare — especially when it comes from his famous daughter.

Tilly and her father have a close relationship and obviously enjoy joking around with each other. In an interview with Daily Mail, Gordon Ramsay asks Tilly what it's like being the daughter of the best chef in the world, and Tilly quickly replies, "Jamie Oliver's not my dad!" But like any good father, Ramsay was quick to defend his daughter when a radio host recently body-shamed Tilly, according to Cosmopolitan.

Ramsay clearly enjoys sharing a laugh with his daughter on TikTok and isn't afraid to make an idiot sandwich out of himself by taking on this food dance challenge. Tilly has obviously inherited his quick wit and culinary skills, but hopefully not his dance moves.
