Prior to switching to food writing, Ksenia worked as a professional writer, journalist, and editor for more than eight years.

Ksenia's BA and MA provided her with a unique view of the world, an understanding of the intersection of culture and identity, as well as a sensitive and critical eye that she brings into her multicultural cooking. It has also taken her all over the world, allowing her to develop her palette and writing portfolio.
