Reddit Is In Shambles Over A Chicken-Less Chick-Fil-A Biscuit

Whether you're heading out the door in a rush, coming home after a long day, or simply have no desire to cook at home, having the ability to stop by a fast food restaurant for a quick bite to eat can be incredibly convenient – especially because you can grab your grub without having to leave your car. But however the order is placed, accuracy matters. And a certain chicken chain has a track record for that.

Chick-fil-A, the self-described "home of the original chicken sandwich," is also home to busy drive-thrus. Fans on Reddit can attest to how long the line of cars can get. Not only that, but the Atlanta-based chain has also proven that it can handle those massive crowds that show up every day (except Sundays), as QSR Magazine reports that it put up a 100% order accuracy rate in 2021 based on a survey of 1,007 consumers.

But alas, no chain can get perfect scores forever, and recently, Reddit user u/ArtisanGerard was subjected to one of CFA's mistakes. In their post to the Chick-fil-A subreddit earlier this week, the Redditor revealed that they were missing a crucial component in their Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit leaving their fellow Redditors in shambles.

This CFA mishap may be more common than you think

We can only assume that Reddit user u/ArtisanGerard expected to be sinking their teeth into one of Chick-fil-A's famous chicken biscuits after swinging by earlier this week on the way to work. However, upon opening their order – which they said was a "chicken biscuit with egg" – the user found that a third of its components weren't there. "Well, that's new – no chicken in my biscuit," the Redditor wrote. They also shared photo evidence of their chicken-less breakfast sandwich that a surprising number of people on the thread could relate to.

"Mann, it's crazy how many times this happened to me. You'd think it would be hard to forget," u/gcbofficial wrote. Another shared that their husband was missing the chicken from the Grilled Chicken Club just that week, while u/EffectBrilliant87 offered an interesting twist to the situation. "I ordered a filet with no biscuit and they clearly took my chicken off a biscuit because there were biscuit pieces stuck to the chicken. Maybe I got your chicken haha," they joked.

Several CFA workers also chimed in, including u/TheRealDemize, who offered some advice for people who may find themselves in the same position. "I'm assuming it was busy. We work very fast in the kitchen, make sure to say something and they will probably give you a new biscuit and you would keep the old one," they said.
