Is Rachael Ray Still Married?

Rachael Ray is best known for her cooking skills, but the TV personality has expanded her empire over the years to include the likes of pet food and home furnishings. Her success, though, isn't the only reason her name has come up in the media. Ray married John Cusimano, the lead singer and guitarist for the band The Cringe, in an Italian wedding ceremony back in 2005 (via Heavy). Since their relationship began, the couple has been thrown into the spotlight, but it hasn't always been for the better. With both Ray and Cusimano having high-profile jobs, and rumors always seeming to be hot on their heels, where does Rachael Ray's marriage currently stand?

Infidelity rumors have swirled in Rachael Ray's marriage

The couple has had their fair share of infidelity rumors. A woman named Jeaninne Walz claims to have had a five-year-long affair with Cusimano before and during his relationship with Ray (via Delish). Both Ray and her husband denied the rumors.

Then, in 2013, Ray had to battle tabloids again after claims that her husband frequented a New York City swingers' club. The source, who leaked the story to the press, claims each time Cusimano was accompanied by other females who weren't Ray (via Good Housekeeping). A rep for Ray fought back against the accusations. "This is yet another pack of lies printed by the National Enquirer who have been targeting John and Rachael for several years with no merit," they told Fox News.

10 years after saying "I do" Rachael Ray renewed her marriage vows

Despite all the odds, Ray and Cusimano renewed their wedding vows in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The couple flew 100 of their friends and family to Italy to celebrate at Castello di Velona, the same Tuscan castle where they first said their "I dos." Guy Fieri was one of many notable names on the guest list. During the ceremony, Ray, whose nickname for her Scotch-loving husband is "Johnny Walker," recited the poem, "All the Whiskey in Heaven." When talking to People about her vows, Ray says, "In knowing my husband, there wasn't a dry eye in the house." Ray swears she had minimal input for the catered reception, but did request that afterward guests change into their bathrobes for a full out pajama party.

Rachael Ray seals her marriage with a kiss

Cusimano joined Ray on her show in 2019. The video, posted on the Rachael Ray Show website, showed that the couple played a compatibility game to see how well they knew each other. When asked what Cusimano would change about his wife, he said, "Nothing." Ray's answer wasn't quite so simple, as she noted Cusimano blows his nose so loud it can be heard in another country. There were no hard feelings, though, as the video ended with both saying, "I love you," to each other, followed by a kiss that confirms Ray's marriage is still very much on.
