The Papa John's Dipping Sauce That Has Everyone Talking
Some things in life are practically loved by everyone. Arguably some contenders high on the universally-loved-list are pizza, novelty, and dipping sauce. So then it totally makes sense that nobody can keep their mouths shut about the new item from Papa John's.
Last year on National Garlic Day — yes there's a day dedicated solely to the stuff vampires hate — Papa John's offered a Spicy Garlic Dipping Sauce, but the catch was, it was only available that day. Apparently everyone loved it a ton because it's back now, and probably forever. Rejoice, because you can stop rationing the stockpile of the sauce you collected last year that lives in the back of your silverware drawer (via Chew Boom).
The sauce is similar to Papa John's long-loved Garlic Dipping sauce, but this new spicy version is packed with jalapenos and red chilies, enough to make you sweat — at least if you're a spice newb. Reviewers have said it's a more generic heat, totally tolerable for even a spice-sensitive consumer. The fact that it's not totally overpowering makes it versatile and good for all your pizza and breadstick needs (via Delish).
Papa John's new sauce is adding some heat
Fast food reviewer Peep This Out raved about the sauce. He explained that if you loved the original Papa John's Garlic Dipping Sauce that you have a lot to look forward to with the new spicy edition. He ended his video with, "Consider this a pot of gold kicked up with a very steady amount of heat throughout." He definitely wasn't breaking a sweat at the end of the video though, so if you are looking for something fierce, this one might not be for you (via YouTube).
According to a label shown in the YouTube video, the main ingredient in the delicious sauce is soybean oil, and less than 2 percent of the ingredients are garlic, red pepper, and jalapeno.
Next time you place your Papa John's order, add on the new Spicy Garlic Dipping Sauce. You might not be sweating, but you certainly won't be sorry.
