The Candy From Aldi Everyone Thinks Is Better Than The Brand Name

Discount grocery chain Aldi is popular with its customers due to its ability to source amazing products at unbelievably low prices. While Aldi does stock some national brands in its stores, they are really known for their in-house brands which allow them to use the highest quality ingredients while maintaining that low price point.

Recently, Aldi has proven it deserves its reputation for being No. 1 in grocery store private labels with its Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. According to Delish, these are even better than Resee's Peanut Butter Cups, which is no small feat.

The outlet claims Aldi customers are going crazy for the chocolate and peanut butter treats, with even die-hard Resee's fans claiming they prefer the Aldi version to the real deal. Delish believes this is due to the extra height that the Aldi brand has added to the cups, which they then packed with more peanut butter than any of the other widely available chocolate peanut butter cups currently on the market.

Could Aldi's Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups really be better than Resee's?

Aldi Instagram fan account @aldi.mademedoit posted a photo of the Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, calling the treats "gold" and asking followers to let them know in the comments if they prefer the Aldi sweets or the Reese's brand, proclaiming themselves "team Aldi."

The product is so sought after that Aldi Reviewer even felt it was necessary to put an editor's note at the top of their review of the product, letting readers know that the Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are so popular they are frequently sold out. In their review, they proclaim the Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups to be absolutely flawless, praising the candy's perfectly balanced blend of sweet and salty and the way the thin chocolate shell lightly cracks when you bite into it.

They love that the chocolate peanut butter cups come without wrappers and are Fair Trade Certified, making them a more environmentally-friendly snack than competitor's chocolate peanut butter cups. Aisle of Shame agrees, claiming the Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups live up to their hype, and stating that they love the combination of Aldi's signature high-quality Choceur European chocolate with their creamy peanut butter filling.
