This Is Why You Should Stop Ordering Crazy Bread At Little Caesar's

If you've ever worked at a fast food restaurant, or any restaurant for that matter, then chances are there are some secrets you don't want customers to know. One of those secrets might have been a dish or two that customers would be better off avoiding. Little Caesar's is no different in that there are a couple of sides worth skipping, and according to some employees, one is the Crazy Bread.

While many fast food employees will tell you not to order something because it is inconvenient or complicated to make, there could be a bigger reason to avoid the Crazy Bread from Little Caesar's. Former employees and managers alike have taken to Reddit to explain the issues with Crazy Bread as well as the Jalapeño and Italian Bread, too. While one employee said they saw a co-worker pick up breadsticks from the floor and put them back in the bag because they were in a hurry, it's the toppings that are the biggest concern to many former workers (via Delish).

It's the toppings that are the issue with Little Caesar's Crazy Bread

Apparently, Crazy Bread, and all other bread for that matter, served at Little Caesar's is basically just the same dough as the pizza crust. That might be fine with you, but it's the fake butter that most employees say is bad. The bread is baked in a lot of garlic butter, which might be a few days old according to Delish, but when it comes out of the oven, the bread is allegedly slathered in imitation butter that doesn't have to be refrigerated. None of the former employees were really sure what the imitation butter was actually made of, so it may be best to steer clear of it (via Reddit).

To bring the point home, each breadstick is 100 calories, 3 grams of fat, and 130 milligrams of sodium, all of which quickly add up if you eat more than one (via Nutritionix). And let's face it, everyone eats at least two or three (or, ahem, more). Besides, you could easily make significantly healthier garlic bread at home while also saving yourself some money. That way you would also know exactly what you are eating, which is always a good thing.
