Pillsbury's New Mean Girls Toaster Strudel Makes Your Breakfast So Fetch

Pillsbury just dropped a new product, and it's the perfect way to make sure your mornings are appropriately pink-filled. The newest must-buy item are boxes of Mean Girls Toaster Strudel, and they're incredibly "fetch." Pink icing aside, the pastry company pulled some deep cuts from the 2004 cult movie.

For example, it wasn't enough to pick the perfect color. The Mean Girls Toaster Strudel boxes have a photo of Gretchen Wieners, which is so great when you think back on one of her iconic lines: "I don't think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be too pleased to hear about this" (via Delish). In fact, a revised version of the line was printed on the box too: "I think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be very pleased to hear about this." It's the movie product partnership you never knew you needed until now. Luckily, the boxes hit grocery store shelves on September 9, so you can try them right now.

What you need to know about Mean Girls Toaster Strudel

Each six-count box is around $3 and comes in one of two flavors. The first is a strawberry-flavored Mean Girls Toaster Strudel and the second flavor is cream cheese and strawberry. Naturally, both flavors come with Mean Girls-themed icing that's a bright shade of pink, according to the press release.

To kick things up another notch, they didn't just put a photo of Lacey Chabert, the actress you know as Gretchen Wieners, from her Mean Girls days on the box. Toaster Strudel actually partnered with her to launch "The Most Fetch" Toaster Strudel Icing Sweepstakes. To enter, take a photo with your Toaster Strudel topped with a design featuring the limited-edition pink icing and post it on Instagram or Twitter by September 20. Use the hashtag #FetchSweepstakes and tag @ToasterStrudel in the caption, too.

Winners will get a personalized video message from Ms. Wieners herself, a year's supply of Pillsbury Toaster Strudel, and plenty of Mean Girls merch. Everyone else who doesn't win will still get free access to watch the movie through Fandango when they buy two specially marked boxes between now and October 31. Sounds like Halloween plans are already covered.
