Nintendo Fans Won't Want To Miss This Mario-Themed Cold Stone Creamery Cake

Nintendo enthusiasts definitely have a milestone to look forward to, and luckily for them, the company has partnered with Cold Stone Creamery. Mario and Luigi are turning 35, and to celebrate, the duo are giving fans several sweet treats to choose from (via Comic Book). "To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., we are excited to continue our collaboration with Cold Stone," said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "From fun ice levels to delicious ice cream, Nintendo and Cold Stone are offering cool treats this year for people of all ages." That means you can enjoy Mario-themed sweet treats while you get your game on (via PR Newswire).

In addition to three treats customers can choose from, Cold Stone Creamery is also selling four "Gotta Have It" Mario-themed ice cream cups. Each one shows Mario through the years in his red, blue, green, and yellow costumes. As if three treats and four cups were not enough, customers can also enter a contest to win a Nintendo Switch prize pack. Five winners will get a Nintendo Switch, 12 codes to download games, and a $50 Cold Stone Creamery gift card. Another 100 customers will win a gift card, the Nintendo Switch, and five game downloads (via Penn Live).

Here's what fans need to know about the Super Mario ice cream treats

To get one of the 35th anniversary Mario sweet treats, you'll need to visit your local Cold Stone Creamery by December 15th or order online by then. Customers can choose to celebrate with a cake, of course. The cake is called Rainbow Road Rally, and it is made of yellow cake and cake batter ice cream. It's covered in a thick layer of bright blue frosting and topped with star-shaped sprinkles.

Then there's the ice cream option that comes in the themed cups. It is Mario's Super Birthday Blast Creation which includes cake batter ice cream with yellow cake, bright blue icing, and star sprinkles, according to PR Newswire. If you prefer a drinkable Mario option, though, then go for the shake. Mario's Super Star Shake is made with cake batter ice cream, that same blue frosting, and topped with whipped cream and star sprinkles.

So however you choose to celebrate this occasion, there are plenty of ways you can power up thanks to Cold Stone Creamery. Don't wait too long. December 15th will be here before you know it.
