Why You Should Think Twice About Ordering Burger King's Triple Stacker King

Everyone knows fast food is not the healthiest option but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed in moderation, right? When it comes to popular outlets like Burger King, the trick is to do a little bit of research and dive into the menu to figure out some of the food options that are relatively better for you and your health. According to Eat This, Not That!, some of the worst offenders at Burger King include the Bacon King Sandwich, the Triple Whopper with Cheese, the Chocolate Oreo Shake, and the Spicy Nuggets.

"Why?" you ask? Take Burger King's Bacon King Sandwich, for instance. This bad boy packs in about 1150 calories with 79 grams of fat, 2150 mg of sodium, and 49 grams of carbohydrates. Yikes. That's essentially eating more than half of your day's calories in a single sitting. You may also want to think twice before going for an option like the Triple Stacker King. Here is why.

It is really unhealthy

Burger King's Triple Stacker King may seem tempting with its generous serving of bacon, cheese, a special sauce, and three patties. Seriously. However, it won't do you any favors. According to an Insider ranking by Savanna Swain-Wilson, this is one of the worst burgers you can possibly put into your mouth at Burger King and, in Swain-Wilson's words, was "far too heavy to be enjoyable." In fact, the reviewer added that even if they were extremely hungry and wanted to eat as much meat as the Triple Stacker King provides, they would rather eat two bacon cheeseburgers than spend money on the Triple Stacker King. You get the drift.

According to Eat This Much, the burger packs in 1370 calories, a whopping 93 grams of fat, 2300 mg of sodium, 50 grams of carbohydrates, and just 1 gram of fiber. Do your waistline a favor and opt for a healthier option like the classic hamburger, which Verywell Fit lists as the chain's "most nutritious" burger.
