How To Get A Free Limited-Edition Starbucks Holiday Cup
Now that Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is coming up to really kick off the holiday season, it's time that Starbucks releases its winter drinks. With the new festive flavors also comes one of the best parts of the holiday season for coffee drinkers at the chain. For the third year in a row, Starbucks will give away the free collectible red holiday cups you've come to know and love (via Delish). But to get this year's reusable Starbucks holiday cup, you'll need to act quickly.
The cups will be given away on Friday, November 6th at participating locations. However, supplies are limited and will only be provided to customers who order one of the winter flavored drinks that will be debuting on the menu too. So, to get your joe in a free red cup, you'll need to visit your Starbucks early enough that the supplies have not run out. Once these cups are gone, that's all there is for this year.
Order a holiday drink to get a Starbucks cup to match
The collectible red Starbucks holiday cup is just that, red. There are also seven thin bands around the center of the cup with different designs. One band has the Starbucks name written around it while another has the Starbucks logo. The other bands have festive designs and colors like stars and diamonds, fir trees, snowflakes, and more.
In addition to the collectible cup, there are four additional designs you can buy too. They're officially named "Ribbon," "Dot," "Sparkle," and "Brand Wrap." The "Ribbon" cup is similar to the red collectible cup but features more bands all the way up and down the cup. "Sparkle" is a red cup with green stars that appear to be twinkling and shining. The "Dot" cup is green with blue and red dots and a banner around the cup reading, "carry the merry." Finally, "Brand Wrap" is three bands, green, red, and light blue, wrapped around the cup with each one reading "Starbucks" (via New York Post).
So even if you miss out on the free red cup, you can always buy yourself a cheery Starbucks cup for the season while enjoying a Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, or Eggnog Latte — which are all back on the menu.
