Here's Why Corner Bakery Cafe Is Giving Out Free Coffee Until 2021

As the weather continues to get cooler, there's nothing like curling up in a blanket with a warm cup of coffee. And it seems as though Corner Bakery Cafe agrees because it's offering customers a free jolt of java this holiday season. From now until Dec. 31, the eatery is offering its guests a free cup of joe at any size. Yep, you read that right. The chain released a press release explaining that they understand how difficult this year has been for many people because of the pandemic, according to Fast Casual.

"In light of the times, I could not think of a better way to welcome customers into our cafes than with a hot cup of coffee on the house," said Jay Pandya, who acquired Corner Bakery last month. "It has been a tough year for everyone and if we can be a bright spot in a world full of uncertainty — the complimentary, delicious, hand-roasted cup of coffee you can count on — then I'm all for it."

How to redeem your free cup of coffee at Corner Bakery Cafe

NBC reports that to receive your free java in person, Corner Bakery Cafe says all you need to do is ask the barista about it. You can also redeem your coffee by entering the code online: FREECOFFEE while you checkout. Luckily, there's no app you have to download and you can order it online for pickup or delivery. The cafe said in the spirit of giving back for the holidays, they hope this brings some festive cheer to its patrons.

"We know, it sounds too good to be true," Donna Josephson, chief marketing officer of Corner Bakery, said per Fast Casual. "But we assure you that it's true! Hurry into your nearest Corner Bakery, ask for a cup of coffee and it is yours. We look forward to serving millions of guests our quality coffee this holiday season!"

Corner Bakery Cafe said they are taking all the safety precautions necessary to keep everyone safe, as reported by NBC. All employees are required to wear a mask and gloves and social distancing has been implemented in all of its cafes.
