Starbucks Just Announced The Return Of This Seasonal 2019 Favorite

After a year we'll never forget, it's the little things that help bring a smile to our faces. Whether it's putting the star on top of the tree, delivering toys to a local charity, or simply enjoying a favorite seasonal coffee after a long day of online shopping. It's precisely for this reason that Starbucks has announced the return of its Irish Cream Cold Brew, which debuted last year. Created by combining Starbucks signature Cold Brew coffee and Irish cream syrup, this cool beverage, available for a limited time, is served over ice, and finished with vanilla sweet cream foam and a final dusting of cocoa powder (via Delish).

In case you're still counting calories over the holidays, a Grande (16-ounce) Starbucks Irish Cream Cold Brew adds up to 200 calories, 12 grams of fat (8 g. of saturated fat), 20 grams of carbohydrates, and 19 grams of sugar (via Starbucks).

Other ways Starbucks is celebrating in December

Also announced on the same day as its Irish Cream Cold Brew release, Starbucks launched its sixth year of the Starbucks for Life game, which takes place between December 1 and January 4, with new prizes, including Bose earbuds, Alaska Airlines travel vouchers, and Feeding America food bank donations. To celebrate Giving Tuesday and World AIDS Day, Starbucks is also donating $500,000 on December 1 to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS with (RED). The aim of the donation is to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on AIDS programs (via QSR).

According to SheKnows, Starbucks is also giving free, hot or iced, tall brewed coffee to frontline responders throughout the month of December. And, if you absolutely cannot leave your house for some reason, you can also get your Starbucks Irish Cream Cold Brew delivered via Starbucks Delivers on Uber Eats. And, an important reminder about the Irish Cream Cold Brew: it is only offered as a cold beverage, while the other Starbucks' holiday drinks can be made hot or cold.
