However, Trader Joe's recently came out with a festive new snack mix just for the holidays, and it's leaving fans divided on whether or not it'll be an instant classic.
According to Trader Joe's website, the new Sweet & Salty Snack Mix is their very first mix to include the fan-favorite peanut butter-filled pretzels. Only available during the holiday season, the mix combines the peanut butter pretzel nuggets with chocolate-drizzled caramel popcorn, roasted peanuts, and potato chip pieces half-dipped in chocolate. It should be available in stores now, and a 12-ounce bag of sweet and salty goodness is just $3.99. It sounds like this new mix should be the perfect holiday snack for everyone who craves a little salt with their sugar, but so fans wish it was a little more balanced.

Recently, the Instagram account @traderjoeslist posted about the new Sweet & Salty Snack Mix, asking dedicated Trader Joe's aficionados for their thoughts if they'd already had a chance to try it. A few commenters replied that they wished the mix had more chips; apparently, some shoppers ended up with bags where the chips were mostly crushed, so they weren't able to fully appreciate the salty sweetness of the chocolate-dipped chips. Presumably not as impressed with the rest of the mix, one person wrote that it "should be only chocolate covered potato chips." And one commenter thought the mix was a little heavy on sweetness and could use more saltiness.
However, plenty of other commenters were completely enamored with the new mix. One ardent fan even declared, "Can't stop eating this. Crack in a bag" while another commented, "can confirm this rox."
