Aldi Shoppers Are Obsessed With This Greek Yogurt

Looking for an easy, healthy, and affordable breakfast to start your day off right? Aldi shoppers are raving about the grocery chain's Friendly Farms Whole Milk Greek Yogurt.

"Aldi has a fantastic whole milk greek yogurt, 10/10," wrote Redditor u/MuffinPuff in Aldi fan forum r/Aldi. Other shoppers were quick to weigh in about how much they love this hearty 5% milk fat yogurt. "Has cream, other brands skimp on that," one commenter wrote. "My breakfast is 1/4 of this yogurt mixed with a hand full of walnuts. Done. Enough protein and little carbs to get me to lunch." Others chimed in their go-to topping combinations: "I do the same but with pumpkin seeds. A drizzle of honey and a bit of cinnamon if I'm feeling adventurous," added one. "I add blueberries and honey to it. So good," contributed another.

Others suggested adding this yogurt to steel-cut oats, substituting it for sour cream, or even using it as a tuna salad add-in.

A healthy choice

Nutrition app Fooducate gave this yogurt an A rating on its food scoring scale, naming it a "Top Product," highlighting it as a great source of calcium, and deeming it one of the best options in its category. Fooducate's Aldi shoppers were as enthusiastic about this yogurt as Reddit's.

One wrote, "I used to exclusively eat Fage. I switched to this, half the price and tastes great-wonderful texture!" Another agreed, "I just bought this yesterday and had some for lunch. It is delicious. I also ate Fage only but will be buying this yogurt from now on. 2 thumbs up." One commenter even raved, "thickest, richest, creamiest greek yogurt i've ever had! love it!"

The yogurt comes in 32-ounce containers, with about 5 servings of yogurt (3/4 cup) in each one (via Open Food Facts). Check your local Aldi now for your new go-to healthy breakfast choice.
