Steak 'N Shake Just Brought Back A Seasonal Fan Favorite

Is there anything better than fast food and milkshakes? Probably not. The fast food chain Steak 'n Shake takes its mission to serve delicious food rather seriously. Opened in 1934, the brand has gradually expanded over the years to 550 restaurants in 28 states, according to the company website. In fact, Steak 'n Shake's founder, A. H. Belt, also known as Gus, was so intent on reassuring his customers about the quality of his hamburgers that he would grind freshly bought meat in front of them. Reassuring indeed.

Some of the best things to try at Steak 'n Shake? It's got to be their milkshakes, which Steak 'n Shake says they serve 60,000,000 of a year. You could opt for the Turtle Caramel Nut Milkshake or get yourself a special Birthday Cake flavor. If you like to mix it up, you'd be happy to know that one of the best and most loved items on the menu has returned for winter. Red velvet shakes are back for the season.

The red velvet milkshake comes in two varieties

As reported by Chewboom, if you're someone who enjoys the sweet festive treats at Steak 'n Shake, you're in luck. The brand has brought back its much-adored specialty, the Red Velvet shake just in time for Valentine's Day. Yummy. In even better news, you get to choose from two different options: the classic Red Velvet shake and the Oreo Red Velvet shake.

The Red Velvet shake is a mix of ice cream, red velvet cake, and frosting topped with a mountain of whipped cream and a cherry. It's a must-try for Red Velvet fans. The Oreo Red Velvet shake has the same ingredients as the Red Velvet, but with a swirl of crunchy Oreo cookie pieces blended in and Oreo crumbles piled on as a topping. Well, turning down Oreo cookies is incredibly hard, anyway, eh? Red velvet combined with Oreo would make things even better! The best part? According to their Instagram, Steak 'n Shake is offering these shakes half-priced on weekdays between the hours of 2 to 5 p.m. at participating locations. These delicious shakes are back only for a short period, so you want to make sure that you don't miss out on them.
