Kaley Cuoco Nursed Her Golden Globes Loss With These Snacks

As actress Kaley Cuoco likely well knows, awards season is a time in an actor's life that can be filled with a lot of possible highs and lows. Normally, this is the time of the year where TV and movie fans can see their favorite celebrities dressed to the nines in the latest designer fashion. But thanks to COVID-19, the most recent iteration of the Golden Globes saw stars dressed and dolled up not on the red carpet, but at home, as they safely celebrated the big night.

Cuoco is no stranger to designer threads and red carpets, so it's no surprise the comedic actress donned a gorgeous gown for the 2021 Golden Globes. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the dark comedy show she produced, The Flight Attendant, and according to BuzzFeed, this was the actress' first Golden Globe nomination of her career. Unfortunately, she lost to iconic Schitt's Creek actress Catherine O'Hara for the Best Actress in a TV Series — Musical/Comedy category. But this loss was something that the actress took in stride.

Cuoco commemorated her loss surrounded by cake, pizza, and champagne

Thanks to a picture that the former Big Bang Theory actress shared on Instagram, fans caught a glimpse of how Cuoco nursed her hurt at not having won the Golden Globe award. While clad in a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown, as noted by Delish, Cuoco was surrounded by a slew of goodies like a cake that had her face on it, pizza, macaroni and cheese, another cake (this one chocolate), cupcakes with "GG" on them (referencing the Golden Globes), and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne (via Eat This, Not That!). The 35-year-old actress captioned the humorously relatable post, "I would like to thank...never mind!!"

Fans all flocked to the comment section to share their will wishes for the actress, with reality TV star Stassi Schroeder calling Cuoco "truly iconic" for sharing such a fun picture. And to further prove that she's a good sport, the actress gave a sweet shoutout to O'Hara on her win on her Instagram Stories. "I will happily lose to you any single day," she wrote, as BuzzFeed reported.
