Only 8% Of People Think This Fast Food Chain Has The Best Chicken Sandwich
Chicken sandwiches and well, fast food in general can be incredibly satisfying if you're looking for a no-frills meal with a myriad of flavors. Thankfully, as far as dining options go, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the fast food space. Whether you're looking for a customizable option at a fast food outlet like Subway or prefer to stick to an old favorite like Chick-fil-A or Popeyes, you're guaranteed to find something that will scratch the itch when you're dining outdoors.
Keeping that in mind, we decided to dig a little further at Mashed and ask participants to respond to a survey that had a simple agenda: zeroing down on the most popular chicken sandwich. The stakes were high and 37,000 respondents globally were asked to chime in with their opinions on their most preferred chicken sandwich. Curious about the results? Here's what you need to know.
Wendy's is the answer you're looking for
The survey included some of the most popular options such as Wendy's, Popeyes, and Chick-fil-A. Respondents could also choose the "other" option and explain what their preferences are, too. Well, 55 percent of the participants chose to vote for Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich while 30 percent showed their support for Popeyes. Only eight percent of the participants mentioned that they'd opt for Wendy's chickens sandwich. Additionally, eight percent of the respondents chose the "other" option.
A commentator explained what disappoints them about Wendy's chicken sandwiches these days. They wrote that they loved "Wendy's when they had that ghost pepper chicken sandwich and ghost pepper fries. That sh** was the best thing I ever ate at a fast food place. I sometimes still dream about it." Whoa. Another Wendy's fan said that they'd still choose the fast food outlet because they reckon that it's a solid bet overall in terms of food quality compared to their peers in the industry. Interesting.
