Froot Loops Interesting New Product Isn't Cereal
These days the cereal industry is doing a lot, and most of it isn't cereal anymore. From snack packs that are nothing but Lucky Charms marshmallows or fruit-flavored Cap'n Crunch berry pieces to the latest fad, gummies, cereal lovers can enjoy their favorite cereal in quite a few other forms. In fact, gummies are just the thing that Froot Loops is releasing next, according to Best Products. Apparently, a couple of different Instagram accounts were able to get advanced samples of the new Froot Loops Gummies that are being released by Galerie Candy.
Though you'll certainly miss that satisfying crunch with the new gummy candy, the Instagram reviews were raves. According to @collectingcandy, "Those signature Froot Loops flavor notes are all there, and they hit you as soon as you open the package." According to Best Products, "the pieces are red, orange, green, blue, and purple and are in a ring shape, again, just like the cereal." Really the only downside is that you'll have to wait about seven months to get your hands on some. The Froot Loops Gummies will not make their debut until Halloween later this year. Luckily, it's not the only new Froot Loops offering headed to store shelves this fall.

Froot Loops is also bringing back a cult classic, the edible straw. They're obviously not reusable, but they are delicious, as any '90s kid knows. According to a press release received by Mashed, Froot Loops has responded to a Change.org petition to bring back their cereal straws. No one has seen the cereal straws in 12 years, but there are two flavors making the comeback. The cereals straws will include both Kellogg's Froot Loops and Cocoa Krispies. As Kellogg's stated in their press release, "Each sip or bite from these flavorful straws will take 90's kids straight back to their childhood."
Unfortunately, this momentous return will not happen until October of 2021 either. So the next seven months will definitely be full of even more anticipation. In the meantime, you can stock up on all your favorite cereals, including limited editions, to use with the straws. So, mark your calendars. You know this is a release you won't want to miss.
