Costco Fans Swear By These Organic Ice Cream Sandwiches

The first day of spring is only days away, which means we are about to enter that exciting time of year when the flowers are starting to bloom, the days are getting longer, and the weather is finally starting to warm up. And what could possibly go better with warm weather than ice cream? The short answer is probably nothing, unless that ice cream also happens to be a creamy vanilla bean that is packed between two delicious, chocolatey cookie wafers.

Now, Costco is selling Alden's Organic vanilla bean ice cream sandwiches to help shoppers usher in the arriving warm weather. These round sandwiches contain ingredients like cane sugar and ground vanilla beans and no artificial additives, sweeteners, or high fructose corn syrup, according to the Alden's Organic website. Like all of Alden's Organic products, they are certified organic and are completely free from antibiotics, GMOs, and carrageenans. Each sandwich contains just 170 calories, making it the perfect guilt-free treat to grab on a hot day.

Alden's Organic ice cream products were a hit on social media

The popular Instagram account @costcobuys made a post alerting their followers to the new find, writing, "@aldensicecream organic ice cream sammies look great! They're made with real organic vanilla and each box comes with 18! [Have] you guys tried these?" Their followers were quick to sing the praises of these sweet and creamy ice cream sandwiches. "Their ice cream is the best!" one follower raved, while another Instagram user chimed in, saying, "I haven't specifically tried these but I've had their ice cream and it's great! So I would definitely try these sammies!"

However, shoppers should note that, while the boxes are a good price at just $10.99 for 18 ice cream sandwiches, the individual treats are fairly small, so you might go through them quicker than you expect, especially once you taste how delicious they are. Just to be on the safe side, you might want to pick up an extra box while they're still on the shelves.
