A Surprising Number Of Fans Think Chick-Fil-A's Chicken Is Too Dry

Chick-fil-A is one of the most popular chicken restaurant chains in the United States. They even manage to remain closed on Sundays for the traditional day of rest, even though it's a prime weekend day when many restaurants rely on increased business. But, they're able to do so because loyal fans keep coming back whenever they are open to enjoy their delicious chicken sandwiches, tasty waffle fries, and other menu favorites. Chick-fil-A fans are generally a devoted bunch, which is why one Reddit user was shocked when a friend of theirs tore apart the quality of chicken.

The person was so surprised that they decided to take the debate to social media to see if this was a legitimate complaint. "My friend has an opinion I strongly disagree with that Chick-fil-A chicken is dry," u/beorge272 posted, calling the opinion "so dang stupid" and saying they personally think Chick-fil-A has "some REAL tender" chicken. They even included a Reddit poll to gather hard facts on the general public's real opinion of Chick-fil-A's chicken — though the results were a little surprising.

Some people find Chick-fil-A's chicken to be hit or miss

While the majority of Reddit users agreed with the original poster, that Chick-fil-A's chicken is not dry, a whopping 279 people (of the 938 people that answered the poll) also believe that Chick-fil-A's chicken could be juicier. "I agree that the best chicken, the fried pieces, are not dry. However, I have had their grilled chicken sandwiches a couple of times (breakfast and otherwise), and I regret my choice every time! The grilled chicken is quite dry," u/Amathya replied. "I get nuggets all the time and sometimes they're all hard and gross," said u/PositivePizza420, while another Reddit user called the chicken "inconsistent."

However, the 659 respondents that felt that Chick-fil-A chicken was perfectly moist and tender didn't keep their opinions to themselves either. "Every time I went, it's always been pretty juicy," u/tupacisaliveinserbia remarked, while another user raved that "my last chicken sandwich from there was so juicy, there was juice actually coming out from inside the chicken when i bit into it, i was not disappointed."

So while it turns out the Reddit-using public's opinion on Chick-fil-A is not as cut and dry as it may seem, it certainly doesn't seem likely that big fans of the chain will stop eating there anytime soon.
