According to Best Products, Fruity Pebbles Cereal 'N Candy Bites are creamy white chocolate candy balls blended with crunchy bits of the fruity cereal. And the new Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate 'N Cereal Bites consist of cocoa-flavored milk chocolate balls blended with crunchy chocolate cereal. Each individually wrapped piece is about a half-inch in diameter and perfect for bite-sized snacking.
Frankford Candy is confident the munchable candy will be a hit among health-conscious eaters yearning for a quick hit of sweetness without going overboard. "Consumers are looking for products that offer them a way to keep sweet treats on hand but in smaller sizes that allow them to indulge in moderation," Molly Jacobson, director of business development for the company, told Best Products.
The Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles bites take off from similar candy bars
For now, at least, Fruity Pebbles Cereal 'N Candy Bites and Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate 'N Cereal Bites are available in 10-ounce containers exclusively at Five Below stores nationwide, says Best Products. As previously reported by the website, the debut of the new bite-sized snacks comes about a year after Post Consumer Brands and Frankford Candy first partnered to introduce the Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate Candy Bar and the Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar. At 2.75 ounces, those bars have the same formula as the new bites.
The Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar features crispy cereal pieces and a touch of cereal milk in a white candy base. In a product review, Junk Banter described the fruity version as "a fruity, white chocolate version of a Nestle Crunch." The Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate Candy Bar is a chocolate bar blended with chocolate cereal pieces.
