McDonald's Social Media Managers Just Sent Out This Hilarious Message

When it comes to trustworthy fast food, McDonald's is a brand that easily stands out in the market. Per the McDonald's website, it has an impressive presence around the world. There are more than 26,000 outlets in over 100 countries, and the brand is showing no signs of stopping.

McDonald's has evolved greatly over the years. But it still remains a fan favorite among customers who can't help but talk about the brand on social media. And hey, sometimes, the company's employees join in too.

In October 2020, a McDonald's employee sparked a conversation on Twitter after they wrote, "It's always 'when is the McRib coming back' and never 'how are you doing person who runs the McDonald's account.'" The reactions from other brands were amazing. Oreo's official account tweeted in support. The tweet read, "We hear you... everyone just wants to know when the Cakester is coming back." Aww.

Well, McDonald's is reaching out to its customers once more on social media.

The social media managers have a friendly reminder

McDonald's employees are amusing themselves on social media. A picture posted on the brand's Instagram account shows a (likely photoshopped) McDonald's sign that reads, "Social media managers aren't responsible for menu items." The caption adds, "unless you have a really good idea." Word! This is most definitely a reference to the fact that many customers choose to ask about the menu items on social media, hoping for some real answers.

A hilarious comment from a fan read, "been hollering at you for literally years." Meanwhile, a few other customers took the opportunity to name the products they dearly miss and are longing to see on the menu. A few examples include the Halloween buckets, snack wraps, strawberry cream pie, McPizza, and many more.

Another McDonald's fan had a simple request for the employees. They wrote, "...we know you don't control the menu, but you probably work in the same building as the people that do... so maybe pass along the good word. Please and thank you." Haha!
