Game Of Thrones Fans Won't Want To Miss These New Iron Anniversary Beers

"Game of Thrones" aired its final episode on May 19, 2019, but that hasn't stopped companies from continuing to produce merchandise for the show, per Cinemablend. Fans of the series can still buy official models of the Iron Throne, customizable branded sherpa blankets, and pint glasses emblazoned with laser-cut dragons and house symbols (via HBO). While you could fill one of these official pint glasses with any old beverage, true fans of the series can now pick up some special "Game of Thrones" alcohol to truly get the full experience.

According to Food & Wine, Warner Bros. tapped the Danish company Mikkeller to create three new "Game of Thrones" beers that should hit shelves by October 15. The drinks should pop up in a variety of shops across America, Sweden, the U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and South Korea, and pay homage to characters and locations that hail from the in-universe north and celebrate the notion that winter is here.

A slew of 'Game of Thrones' beers

Fans of the franchise can soon plan to pick up three different types of beer based on the television show. According to PR Newswire, Mikkeller first introduced fans to a hazy IPA celebrating the Iron Anniversary of the show earlier in 2021, and now have expanded their line. Food & Wine reports that The Night King IPA pays tribute to the king of the White Walkers with an 8% ABV beer with a ton of fruit flavor, while the Ghost Visions lager took inspiration from Jon Snow's character and comes with a clean taste and 4.5% ABV. Mikkeller rounds out their new selection of beers with Castle Black Stout, an 11.3% ABV bourbon barrel-aged imperial oatmeal stout.

If you still can't get enough of "Game of Thrones" or just want to enjoy a new beverage, keep your eyes peeled for these new drinks later this week. With any luck, they just might reignite your love for the franchise and can get you excited for more food tie-ins.
