Aldi Shoppers Are Loving These Giant Holiday Doormats
As the temperatures continue to drop, many people across the U.S. have started planning for snowfall — and the mess it brings. But thanks to Aldi, there's a sweet new way to spread a bit of holiday cheer at the threshold of your home while preventing snow from trekking indoors.
Popular Instagram account @ohheyaldi recently posted that the grocery chain now carries new, giant doormats, some adorned with festive imagery like "Noel" decorated with sprigs of holly and "Let It Snow" with snowflakes. They snapped a few pictures of the finds and shared them online, alongside the caption, "There's no place like HOME for the Holidays! Swipe for some home goods at @aldiusa this week!"
Followers loved these festive décor items and especially seemed to like the size of each mat. "I picked up the Noel rug today. I love how big they are!" said one person, while another added, "Such great finds!!" Instagrammers unanimously loved the post, and found even more to cheer about when another popular social media account posted additional images.

Another Instagram account @aldifavoritefinds simultaneously stumbled upon the holiday mats during one of their shopping trips and had to snap a few photos for social media. They posted the find alongside text reading, "These were so much larger than I expected them to be! Sorry for showing these a bit late, my store got them late." They also shared the actual dimensions and price — they measure 24"x36" and retail for $12.99.
Followers stormed the comments section and replied with, "I couldn't decide so I bought 2! Great size and so cute," as well as, "Was thinking I needed a holiday rug (prob can't keep 'hello pumpkin' up forever) ... will check these out!" As with the other Instagram post, many people also commented here on the massive size of the doormats: "Super large!!!
