  • Amy once wrote and edited a year-round Christmas-themed newsletter, meaning she got to try out all her favorite festive food before it hit the shelves.
  • She's enjoyed wine at the Cloudy Bay vineyard in New Zealand, sipped traditional mint tea in Marrakech, and drank cocktails out of a pineapple in Lisbon.
  • Amy loves trying out new independent restaurants, but is a sucker for Five Guys when she needs a quick fix.

Experience

Amy has been a journalist for nearly two decades having started out as a general reporter on a local paper. She began writing about food at the Liverpool Echo, where she worked for several years as an editor for What's On, covering the city's restaurant openings, reviewing the best (and worst) places to eat and trying out food trends. She now works freelance, covering a diverse range of topics, including wellness, farming, consumer news, and food.
