TikTok's 'Fitness Bread' Is Responsible For The New Caviar Buzz

When most people think of caviar, they might often imagine the luxurious food being served up alongside lobsteroysters, or dishes equally as sophisticated. However, in a recent video, a TikTok creator debunked this myth. They posted a video explaining how there are many different types of caviar outside of the ones typically served at upscale restaurants, which can go for thousands of dollars.

In fact, certain variations of caviar can be purchased to enjoy at home. The TikToker named Paddlefish, Hackleback, and Kaluga as some of the different types that can be found below $100. The TikTok sensation further proved the point in the video by spooning a serving of caviar onto fitness bread. In the past, the social media influencer has paired this particular rye bread with other toppings, including whitefish and cheese. However, this specific combination of caviar and fitness bread has taken the internet by storm.

Caviar is now the preferred fitness bread topping

Under the TikTok hashtag #fitnessbread, which has nearly 18 million views, people have been trying the TikToker's caviar-topped fitness bread. A lot of the reception has been positive, with snackers being mind blown about how well the pairing goes together. One TikTok user assembled the dish and tried it on camera, captioning the subsequent video, "You've created a monster. A soon to be broke monster!" Another TikToker also gave the recipe a go and wrote, "Expanded my palate today thank you."

The comments under one of the original poster's videos making the snack were a little more mixed. One commenter wrote, "I refuse to believe that tastes good at all." Another user commented, "I just don't get the hype of eating eggs."

However, one thing is for certain — the influencer definitely stirred up some enthusiasm towards caviar on the Internet. In a screenshot taken by Eater, nearly a dozen of users are shown trying the once-unconventional snack. With the hype continuing to climb on social media, it seems unlikely that this viral combo will disappear any time soon.
