Aldi's Cheesecake Jars Are Back And Instagram Couldn't Be Happier

People often talk about the trials and tribulations of cooking for a crowd, but making a meal for only one or two people can be just as tough. Sure, some dishes are poised for the task, such as sandwiches or salads, but what if you have a hankering for something that's almost always made on a large scale, like lasagna? Paring down a recipe for an individual serving can sometimes prove to be more trouble than it's worth – though thanks to TikTok, we all now have mini lasagnas in a loaf pan in our arsenal.

Then, of course, after dinner, you have to have dessert. Okay, maybe you don't have to have one, but a treat at the end of the day never hurts. And if you've ever tried to make dessert for one, you know that it can end up being just as much of a challenge – especially if something like cheesecake is your preferred sweet of choice.

Now, we see nothing wrong with keeping a whole cheesecake on reserve for when a sugar craving comes on. However, if you can't afford to give up precious real estate in your refrigerator for the sizeable confection, or perhaps are trying to practice better portion control, a returning Aldi find might be of interest, instead. Spotted recently by the Aldi-obsessed Instagrammer @adventuresinaldi, Jar Joy's individual Dessert in a Jar treats have made their way back to the shelves at the low-budget grocer, and Instagram couldn't be happier.

Aldi shoppers are eager to get their hands on these new Jar Joy Dessert in a Jar flavors

Cheesecake for one has never been easier thanks to Jar Joy's Dessert in a Jar, which Best Products says Aldi first began selling back in 2020. Made using "premium, all-natural ingredients" (via Jar Joy's website), the single-serve desserts were a hit with several Aldi fanatics upon their debut – though, as an Aldi Find, the product was only available for a limited time. Fortunately, the sweets have continued to make regular appearances at the budget-friendly grocer, and now, Instagram user @adventuresinaldi reports that they've once again made their return.

"The @jarjoy cheesecakes jar desserts are back!" the Instagrammer exclaimed in a post on January 6. They also included a photo of the two flavors they spotted at their local Aldi store: Tiramisu and Sarah's Sugar Cookie. Priced at $2.09 each, an October blog post from Aldi Reviewer suggests that this is the first time that this particular flavor duo has been available at the German chain. Based on the comments section of @adventuresinaldi's post, customers seem eager to give them a try.

Unfortunately, finding them has posed a bit of a problem for some Aldi shoppers, but those that have found them are leaving great reviews. "Tried the tiramisu one and it was very good!" @tilyfortwo wrote while Instagram user @alexisjohnsonn had similar sentiments about the Sugar Cookie flavors. "SO good!!!! Reminded me of the celebration cheesecake from the cheesecake factory," they said.
