Instagram Is Raining Hearts On Bobby Flay's 'Proud Dad Moment'

Bobby Flay has a lot to be proud of, from his prosperous restaurants to his award-winning Food Network shows. But the one thing he may be most proud of has nothing to do with food. Despite a wildly successful culinary career, it seems that the celeb chef's biggest accomplishment in his life is being a father to his daughter, Sophie Flay, whom he gushes over publicly. "She makes me proud just because she's such a nice person ... She's a really sweet woman and she's incredibly inclusive," Flay told People back in 2021.

In addition to being proud of Sophie's character, Flay also told the outlet that he had "an ongoing flow of pride" seeing his daughter thrive in her career as a local reporter for ABC 7 News in Los Angeles. "When she puts out a story, my chest is big because I'm like, 'That's amazing. This is my kid'," he explained.

Recently, the chef's "Always Hungry" co-host put out a new story that made him seriously beam with pride, as she was assigned to cover the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honoring the Jonas Brothers as they received a star on the iconic landmark on January 30. To commemorate the event, Flay gave his daughter a sweet shoutout on Instagram. "This is a proud #dad moment," he began the lengthy post. His followers have been raining hearts on it ever since.

Bobby Flay's 'proud dad moment' was a 'full circle moment' as well

Bobby Flay proved that he is every bit of the "Proud Father" he claims to be in his Twitter bio last week when he took a moment to gush over his daughter, Sophie, as she covered the Jonas Brothers' Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for ABC 7 News. Taking to his Instagram page, the celeb chef shared two side-by-side photos of Sophie, the first of which was taken 13 years ago when he was able to get two tickets to a Jonas Brothers concert in the Bahamas for his daughter and her friend. The second photo, meanwhile, was a current snap of Sophie posing next to the music group's freshly-installed star. "#fullcirclemoment," he hashtagged the post, which has over 64,000 likes, as of this writing.

Hundreds of friends and fans flocked to the upload's comments section, including Flay's longtime pal Michael Symon. "Love this so much," he said, while Sunny Anderson praised both the Food Network star and his daughter. "Bobby...you are one of the most loving, doting, proud dads out there and it shows. @abc7sophie...SKY'S THA LIMIT! Dream and get ready for things you could never dream up!!!" she wrote.

This wasn't Sophie's first visit to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Per People, she was also in the audience as her father became the first chef to receive a star back in 2015, which he sweetly dedicated to his daughter.
