Bobby Flay And Guy Fieri's Friendship Has TikTok Scrambling In Joy

There are hundreds of well-known and respected figures in the culinary world, but in terms of Food Network stars, there might not be two names bigger than Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay. Both chefs have decades of working with the television channel under their belts, with Flay having signed on in 1994 while his spikey-haired co-worker came onboard after securing a win on Season 2 of "Food Network Star" 12 years later. Nowadays, the culinarians are more or less considered the faces of Food Network, appearing on a combined seven programs at present as well as a slew of others in the past. In fact, Flay was even a judge on Fieri's "Food Network Star" season in 2006 – though the stars have seldom crossed paths in the time since.

Their lack of joint appearances has caused some people on Reddit to question whether or not Flay and Fieri actually get along. Fueling this thought even more were rumors that circulated in 2021 alleging that the reason the Iron Chef delayed re-signing with the Food Network was because he wanted to make more money than Fieri, who, according to People, had signed a new contract in May that year that made him the highest-paid member of the Food Network family.

Well, we hate to break it to you drama lovers out there, but it seems that Flay and Fieri are, in fact, buds, and there's even a TikTok video out there to prove it.

Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri prove their friendship with a fist bump

As two of Food Network's biggest stars, it's easy to think that Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay might hold a bit of animosity towards each other. However, in reality, it seems that the relationship between the two chefs is the exact opposite of this popular trope. Despite not appearing alongside each other on-screen very often, foodies can go ahead and let out a sigh of relief, as a recent TikTok seems to serve as evidence that Flay and Fieri get along just fine.

In a video shared to the official Food Network TikTok page on February 28, Flay and Fieri can be seen "having a moment" at an event, possibly one that was held during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival that took place in Miami, Florida from February 23 through 26. Standing on opposite sides of the serving line, the chefs appeared to be all smiles as they conversed together before sharing reaching across the table to share a fist bump with each other.

The interaction had TikTokers scrambling to get to the comments section, where many shared their joy over seeing Flay and Fieri together. "Two GOATs right there. Respect," one person commented, while several others expressed their desire to see Flay and Fieri take their friendship on screen. "Put Guy on Beat Bobby Flay or we riot! Will also take Bobby on GGG," @dwaynetheboulder commented. So, Food Network, what do you say?
