Kim Kardashian Is Deadly Serious About Her Go-To Chipotle Order

Chipotle is one of those restaurants that always seems to be in the news, for better or worse. Whether it's introducing new rewards programs for loyal customers, quadruple wrapping their burritos, or shaking off rumors of bad guac, the popular chain maintains its reputation as one of America's most well-loved eateries. It's a true haven, particularly for those of us seeking something a little fresher, hotter, and more customizable than your average, run-of-the-mill cheeseburger and fries.

And it looks like Kim Kardashian thinks so too, with the popular Mexican restaurant being one of her favorite places to frequent. The influencer and reality star, who was recently praised for posting unfiltered selfies to Instagram, has been known in the past to follow strict and sometimes controversial meal plans to lose weight, such as the Atkins diet, as Byrdie reveals. But like the rest of us, it seems she's no stranger to enjoying fast food every once in a while.

Kim's Chipotle order

So what exactly does Kim order when she visits the popular Mexican chain? According to People magazine, she's a big fan of the burrito bowl, but skips the beans and salsa. "I love to order the Chipotle bowl, but I get it with just rice, chicken, guacamole and cheese," Kim told People. Carb-lovers fear not, though, as although Kim opts to go without the tortilla, she wraps up her order with a different carb-based side. "I have to have chips on the side, of course," she says. "Then I always get a Diet Coke from the fountain with LOTS of ice. If they don't put enough ice in it, I die."

It seems Kim is among esteemed company when it comes to preferring a burrito bowl over its more traditional format. According to Insider, who asked gourmet chefs for their go-to orders at Chipotle, executive chef Thomas Leonard of Walton Street Bar + Kitchen in Chicago, Illinois also opts for this choice as well, unless the server is skilled at rolling. "I always watch the person rolling the burritos. If they are good [at burrito-rolling], I order a burrito, if they do not seem to be very good, I order a bowl," he told Insider.
