Finding a Chick-fil-A ready to fill your stomach to the size of a hot air balloon shouldn't be difficult to do — it is, after all, the 21st century. If you wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning suddenly craving a pack of Moon Cheese, there's probably a delivery driver who can get one for you. So, what about Chick-fil-A? McDonald's commonly has restaurants open 24 hours a day, so it's logical that Chick-fil-A should try to compete with this major rival. However, late-night visits to Chick-fil-A may be more difficult than you think.
Chick-fil-A has cut some opening hours
Despite us all living in a permanently active world, Chick-fil-A is a little more relaxed when it comes to joining the trend of constant consumerism. Even though the company operates more than 2,600 locations, the vast majority are only open between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The first ever Chick-fil-A, The Dwarf House in Georgia, was credited with operating 24 hours a day, six days a week (all Chick-fil-As close on Sundays to promote the value of dedicating time to family and friends). However, even this one now only opens between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Chick-fil-A restaurants have been known to temporarily extend their opening hours to 24-hour service for limited periods, such as over the holiday season, but you're going to struggle to find one dishing up hot chicken in the early hours of the morning — even in New York, the city that supposedly never sleeps (maybe it's just getting too old for all-nighters). If you really want a late-night Chick-fil-A, you're going to have to predict it early: The latest some Chick-fil-As stay open is 11:59 p.m. — and not a second later.
