Saving money is naturally a big motivator, and Sam's Club is currently using that to attract more people with a big sale for new sign-ups. It's usually $60 for a one-year membership, but it's less than half that — $25 — for those who join before October, and the Plus tier is just $55, instead of $120. It will reset to the regular price next year if those first-timers renew.

Lower costs aside, many members also like what the warehouse chains sell, whether it's good-quality products from their own labels, or items from other brands they carry. It could be baked treats like Sam's Club's Member's Mark Pumpkin Cream Cheese Blondies, which are among the year's best pumpkin bakery finds, or popular pre-made meals from the chain, as ranked by Mashed. These Member's Mark Smoked Sausages get a flavor boost from added bacon, jalapeño, and Monterey Jack cheese, as well as spices and a bit of onion, garlic, and brown sugar. Hempler's Butcher Cut Shoulder Bacon is thick-cut, European cottage-style bacon made from pork collar, which is close to the pig's neck at the top of the shoulder, instead of pork belly like the traditional American kind. The hardwood-smoked bacon is also wider and rounder than the familiar strip type. A more than 90-year-old family company, Hempler's sells this small-batch 2-pound package for $13.83 at Sam's Club.

Sam's Club prepares its Member's Mark Calzones with Marinara Sauce daily, stuffed with whole milk mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and red and green bell peppers, topped with Parmesan and Romano cheeses and herbs before baking. Reheat the delicious calzones in the oven or air fryer. The warehouse membership club sells a four-count package by the pound, at an average price of $14.39. 

Flavors from two diverse cuisines come together in Vivid Kitchen's Kimchi Salsa, sold in two 7.6-ounce bottles by Sam's Club online for shipping and in stores for $9.98. It blends tomatoes and vinegar with the traditional Korean fermented cabbage dish, inspiring the addition of the tomato-based Mexican food staple's name to its moniker. It can substitute for regular salsa or creatively branch out to other dishes, including Asian ones that usually include plain kimchi.

Get that classic Nathan's taste you crave in hot dogs you know came from cows raised on a completely natural diet with Nathan's Famous 100% Grass-Fed Beef Franks. The skinless wieners that debuted earlier this year are also uncured, so they don't have any additional nitrites or nitrates (although naturally-occurring ones are in the celery juice and cherry powder ingredients), and are free of preservatives, fillers, and artificial flavors and colors. Hillshire Farms makes its Premium Carved Oven Roasted Turkey Breast with turkey breast, plus broth and basic seasonings, and no artificial flavors or preservatives. The deli meat is a good source of lean protein in sandwiches, salads, and other dishes, with 12 grams in each serving of the carved-style slices. They arrived at Sam's Club this summer, where through October 4 they are $1 off their usual price — so $8.68 — for two 11-ounce packs.

Upper Cut's Meat & Cheese Assorted Snack Pack is a perfect fit for the deli aisle, but this final item gets an honorable mention as it's actually found in the cooler at Sam's Club Cafés. Chunks of premium hard salami, pepperoni, and Colby Jack and Gouda cheeses each have their own section in the sealed, 5.2-ounce plastic tray. The easily portable savory snack costs $3.57.
