Culver's is arguably most famous for its ButterBurgers, Wisconsin cheese curds, and frozen custard. But the Midwestern chain's culinary prowess extends far beyond beef and dairy. In fact, many fast food fans feel Culver's is one of a few chain restaurants serving the highest quality chicken tenders.

Culver's has been buying chicken filets for its tenders exclusively from Springer Mountain Farms since 2011, a family-owned farm in Georgia that steers clear of antibiotics and feeds its chickens a vegetarian-only diet. Culver's uses whole white meat chicken breast for its tenders, which are battered, breaded, pre-cooked, and frozen to maintain their freshness. Finally, the filler-free tenders are fried to order, so you're getting the crispiest, most delectable product possible.

Culver's fans swear by the chain's tenders. "I believe the chicken strips from Culver's are the absolute best 'fast food' strips out there," one Reddit user wrote. "Perfect amount of breading-to-chicken ratio," another added. "I think their tenders are much higher quality than ... McDonald's or Wendy's," said another Redditor. "Their tendies are still elite ... the move is a burger plus two buffalo tendies. I'm full AF after, but don't sleep on their chicken," wrote a customer. "My favorite tendies in the game. I like a thick, crunchy crust ... but the thin, crisp tenders are my absolute fave," stated another Redditor.

Don't overlook Culver's chicken (or its many pairings)

Culver's chicken tenders are seasoned with a flour-based blend of salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and spices, as well as a corn- and wheat-flour batter. Each tender contains 130 calories, 6 grams of fat, 10 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of protein. Customers can order one, two, four, or eight pieces with up to two dipping sauces. Prices vary by location, but four tenders cost $7.59; for $4 more, you can upgrade to a combo with a side and drink.

Choose from original tenders with neutral breading and spicy buffalo tenders with chili pepper, paprika, and black pepper breading. But tenders aren't the only poultry item on Culver's menu. The fast food restaurant also serves high-quality chicken sandwiches, including crispy, spicy crispy, and grilled variations. You can also get any type of chicken on all three of the chain's salads.

If you're set on tenders, all that's left to decide is a side. Cheese curds are hands-down one of the most popular Culver's menu items. They're made with un-aged yellow and white cheddar cheese, a Culver's exclusive from La Grander Hillside Dairy in Wisconsin. Other pairing options include onion rings, fries, chili, soup, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, pickles, and steamed broccoli, any of which would be a solid match for chicken tenders.
