Sam's Club Just Made Your Holiday Dinner Shopping Easier Than Ever

The winter holiday season is just around the corner, and some stores are already selling different holiday items to help you prepare. While we still have a couple of celebrations to go before Christmas, the entire season always seems to get a little stressful. It never fails that we want everything to be absolutely perfect, but as you bumble through it, chances are you've turned to Christmas Vacation to make light of your festive troubles.

Understanding our plight, this year Sam's Club has partnered with Warner Bros. Entertainment to bring you their National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation shopping experience – and Mashed got a preview inside. It's an interactive website that allows you to walk through two reimagined, modern-day versions of the Griswold house and yard. As you explore each room of the house, you'll find hysterical surprises harkening to the original movie as well as tons of products for sale at Sam's Club. Though you'll love the presents, decor, and the box next to the door with the cat wrapped inside, you'll love the spread of food even more. The entire experience is a complete game-changer when it comes to shopping for and making your holiday dinner. From sweet treats on the living room table complete with moose shaped glasses to the main course in the dining room, you can get inspiration and even directly buy these food items from the Sam's Club website.

Buy your holiday meal right off Clark Griswold's dining room table

There are tons of delicious items to buy for your own holiday meal, and Sam's Club has clearly put a lot of thought behind their premium food item choices. One of our favorite touches is with the appetizers selected. The Member's Mark Party Animal Appetizers (which cost about $10.98 for a box of each snack) are all made to bake at the same temperature, which makes cooking on your holiday much easier. They come in bite sized foods like mini quiches and franks in a blanket, among others.

Beyond nibbles to the main course, all of the premium foods are gourmet for less and so easy to cook, making sides like the Brussels sprouts with bacon and honey butter glaze take only 10 minutes to pan-sear. There's a festive salad, mashed sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter, gravy, rolls, and much more. Of course, the table is currently set with a turkey as the main entrée for Thanksgiving. The meal will be updated in November to reflect more of a Christmas dinner.

There are plenty of sweets available on the interactive site too! The cookies laid out next to the eggnog come in three holiday flavors, hot chocolate, red velvet, and caramel apple, all for just $5.98. There's the pumpkin pie, a pumpkin spice cheesecake, and other desserts too. New items will arrive monthly, so if you see something you want, you should definitely buy it while you can. Enjoy holiday shopping this year, but maybe leave the Tylenol out — just in case.
