If McDonald's Made Big Mac Pizzas, This Is What They Would Look Like

If you're a fan of McDonald's ubiquitous offering, the Big Mac, then you need to check this out. One TikToker, user @ryanparkins05, decided to publicly demonstrate their love for the Big Mac by sharing their recipe for a Big Mac pizza on the social media platform. Wait, what? Yes, the chef in question, Ryan Parkins, posted a video on TikTok of the fast food invention, complete with a recipe and close-up of the creation. Parkins also had a rather unusual caption to accompany the video, "Gordon Ramsay would be turning in his grave." Just to be clear, the popular chef is very much alive, folks.

Before we dig further into Parkins' version of the Big Mac pizza, here is a fun refresher on one of McDonald's most popular menu items (via How Stuff Works). The McDonald's website describes the Big Mac as a classic burger featuring two beef patties, Big Mac sauce, a sesame seed bun, and toppings like pickles, onion, shredded lettuce, and American cheeseEat This, Not That! says the Big Mac was invented in 1967 in Pittsburgh and wasn't part of the brand's original line-up. According to Atlas Obscura, the Big Mac is so well-loved it has even inspired its very own museum in Pennsylvania!

Would you try this TikTok McDonald's creation?

Ok, so back to Parkins and the legendary Big Mac pizza. This innovative dish contains lettuce, cheese, eight meat patties, Big Mac sauce, and pickles (via The Daily Mail). In the comments on the TikTok video, Parkins wrote they got the ingredients for the pizza by visiting their local McDonald's and asking for "10 patties (they shorted me 2 lol), a cup of Mac sauce, a cup of lettuce, and a cup of pickles," claiming the ingredients came to $13. Parkins then proceeded to prepare the dish by making pizza dough with yeast, water, flour, and oil, before adding the patties, the sauce, and cheese. The TikTok sensation popped it all in the oven, and voila! The Big Mac pizza was ready, all it needed was some pickles, lettuce, and the famous Big Mac sauce.

Many viewers were impressed with what they saw, stating that they felt intrigued enough to at least try it, though some were understandably a bit confused. TikToker @candicejade wrote, "I don't know how I feel about this. I'm so confused. I don't want the calories or the heart attack but I want the deliciousness." We agree, it's a surprisingly tough choice.
